Trying to reference a column to another column with the new column sorting in numeric

Ok, here is the layout. All are grids are rows 6-20

    Cash Invoices
    Column A - Invoice numbers
    Column B - Price

    Check Invoices
    Column C - Invoice number
    Column D - Price

    Credit Card Invoices
    Column E - Invoice Number
    Column F - Price

    Invoice Summary
    Column G - Invoice Number
    Column H - Price

All columns are not sorted ie a cash invoice #1 and a check invoice #3 and a credit card invoice #2

I want column G to reference the lowest invoice number and sort ascending based on the invoice numbers in column a,c,e and keep the coinciding price attached for column H

meaning the stuff I typed in A C E will auto sort Ascending in Column G and H

    please help me with this...

    Here is an upload.

the final out put should be the inv#'s sent to column I and the corresponding prices attached to them in column J.

basically trying to make excel take the data from the invoice and price columns and send them to the summary column in order.

    ie

    710628 $12.50
    710629 $52.50
    710630 $1029.30

    etc

    Thanks John

I can't see why you don't arrange your data properly,i.e. a column for payment type & then inv # & value. Then it would be simple to analyse data with a PivotTable. The same layout could be extended to monthly, quarterly & annual reconciliations.

Okay, so the pivot chart will work great. It sorts all the columns etc the way I need them and totals them.

The problem is that this is a daily routine, i'm trying to make a file that all my stores can use as a template to close out their daily work.

Can new numbers be reinputed and the pivot chart will automatically adjust for it? Or would they have to recreate the pivot chart with the variables.

I'm new to the excel thing, and just playing with your chart tickles my fancy. I never used one before.
