Inherited a spreadsheet and it contains formatting for rows and columns to infinite...I've tried the Excess Formats Cleaner 1.1 and it does not work. Any ideas how I can salvage this spreadsheet?

Select the row beneath your last row of data, CNTRL + SHFT + Down Arrow to select all rows, Right click and Delete. Do the same with columns to the right using the right arrow key. Does that work for you?

I was able to clear all formatting for the columns, but the rows beneath my data still remain. To clarify - the hash mark on the right, vertical is much smaller than it should be indicating that there are many more rows than actual. I can't seem to delete all of the tens of thousands of extra rows.
May I add that the horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the sheet works correctly in that if pulled across to the right it stops at the correct column for the end of the data. If you pull down the vertical bar it barely moves down before completely passing the last row of data.
