    Lost

I have an excel sheet that keeps track of my trailers. I am a lot rusty with excel and it is now the only program I have to work with. I have trailers in a list. The next column over I have what is on them. I would like to have it sent to another sheet dependent upon what is on the trailer. Say I have typed in MT in the cell next to Trl 222. I would like 222 to go to a sheet named empty trailers. Can any one help?

    We sure can.

    1) Be sure to read through the Forum Rules you just agreed to when you registered so you can use and follow them effectively.

    2) EDIT that post above and click GO ADVANCED and correct your title, as per forum rule 1. Read the content of your post, then put in a title that reflects what you asked.

    3) Use the paperclip icon to post up your workbook. Make sure it's clear in the workbook examples of the entries you're referring to and where you want those entries to appear as a result.

    Re: Lost

Your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution. Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.
To change a Title on your post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.
    Hope that helps.
