Number pad Enter key not "Entering" in text boxs

Hello,

After installing office 2007 from office 2003 the text boxes that were originally added to the workbook in 2003 will not allow the enter key from the number pad to move the content down a line. the enter key in the center of the keyboard works fine. everything else on the keypad works well. this happens wether or not the number pad is on or off. i have tried different keyboards just to be sure and still no luck any ideas?

Does this just happen in Excel or do you have the same problem in Word and other programs?

Just in Excel and just in Excel Text boxes that originated from a 2003 file. It still saved as a XLS file

What kind of TextBoxes are you using? Maybe attach the workbook

I see the problem and it appears it doesn't let me use the num pad enter either. If I find a way around it I'll post it here.

The text boxes are the normal text boxes (insert > text box). It allows for you to use the normal Enter key to go to the next line, but not the num pad enter.

When I add a textbox to a worksheet (Using Developer -> Insert -> ActiveX Controls -> Textbox) it works for me.

Make sure the "Multiline" and "Enter Key Behavior" properties are set to True. (Right-click on the control in design mode and choose Properties.)

well scratch that it is a 2003 file to 2007. after more testing i have found that it is just 2007 in general.

inside of 2007 i selected Insert - Textbox. I started typing anything and pressed the number pad enter. and nothing. i tried on Citrix 2007 still nothing. i tried on 3 other computers still no go. i tried citrix 2003 and it worked fine. like the number pad enter should.
