how to copy column width ?

Simple thing so I guess should be easy?: I have a wider 'column space' with certain formulas/data etc consisting of several excel columns with a set width.
When I copy this whole big column on the right all single columns width stays as it was not as in the first (copied) 'column space'

    that's excel2003 that I'm using

You can use the EDIT > PASTE SPECIAL > COLUMN WIDTHS to do that.

Thanks. Pity if there's no way to copy it along with all the rest ?
