Excel 2007 : VLOOKUP on FormulaR1C1 problem

    VLOOKUP on FormulaR1C1 problem

    I have a file , I just wnat to search "sheet1" "A" columns from "sheet2" "B" columns :
    Please Login or Register  to view this content.
    But it came out the resuit is "VLOOKUP(A1,Sheet2!A: (B) ,2,0)"
    the "B" column (B) have parenthese on it ,it make the formula don't work
    do I wirte any thing wrong?

    thank you for resopnd shortly, I'am just a beginner of Excel VBA, and I'am a frist time ask question on this forum ,So ..maybe this is a very stupid question : What is the "Code tags" mean?

    OK - so if you want to use R1C1 style all references in the formula must follow R1C1 notation

    Please Login or Register  to view this content.
    Also if you opt to store row numbers in variables use Long and not Integer - the latter does not cater for all possible row numbers.
