Hello -
I am attempting to enter time values >10000 hrs and subtract them using the custom cell format [h]:mm. Excel 2003 doesn't seem to like time values greater than 9999:59, every time I go over that number the format of the cell changes (the cell contents shift from the right aligned to left aligned, indicating to me a change in the format) and the cell that holds the result of my subtraction displays error #VALUE!
For example
Cell A1: 11650:35 and cell A2: 11550:25. Cell A3 = A1-A2 (all cells formatted [h]:mm).
How can I enter and perform calculations using these larger hourly times? I want results to remain in the hours:minutes format.
