Hit Enter - move left not down

Hi,
a recent problem has surfaced in my Excel 2007.

When working in a spreadsheet, if I hit the Enter key on my keyboard I would normally have moved to the next lower cell.

For the past few weeks, my cursor moves to the next cell on the left.

Any tips on how to fix this?
