Hi I've got this formula:
=+(E108*(1+$E$133/12)^($F$128/30.33))-E108
the answer is: 334,615 (according to formula)
where:
E108 = 3,154,415
$E$133 = 0.11
$F$128 = 351.00
What I have to do is use this formula in a web application, it has come to my attention that, if I break it up and say:
(1+$E$133/12) = 1.01
($F$128/30.33) = 11.57
(1+$E$133/12)^($F$128/30.33) = 1.11
(E108*(1+$E$133/12)^($F$128/30.33)) = 3,489,030.89
but when I say
(E108*(1.11)) = 3,501,401.63
Why do I get different values, isn't it the same thing?
I'm not really sure what $ before and after the letter represents?
