Hi
I have a list of data which I use for a pivot table. However the pivot table sorts my data. I would like the data to be in the same order (unsorted). Is that possible?

set the Sort Order to Manual for the appropriate Fields.

If this is a 2007 question (forum says yes, profile implies otherwise):

Thanks for your answer.
I have updated my profile info. I use excel 2007.
However i don't get the following option:
"To return items to their original order, click Data source order. This option is only available for OLAP source data."
If I click the header the sort button is greyed out. If I mark one of the cells in the row it is possible to press the sort button but the option is missing. I get data from another worksheet and not a database.
Anyone...?
Or do I have to make an ekstra column with numbers that can be used as sorting parameter?
have you got answer to this problem...i am facing
the same...pls share,if u have the solution...thank u
