Try:
=VLOOKUP(B12,$B$4:$C$8,2,0)
if the matching numbers were truly consecutive numbers as you have, then you could use:
=MATCH(B12,color,0) This would return the postion of the match within the color range... which, in your case coincidently, matches your numbers in the second column.
Where there is a will there are many ways.
