Auto Filter function for hiding columns?

    Hey everybody,
I did alot of research on Auto Filters and couldnt find a soln for this:

I have a worksheet that has a list of items from cells B2 to B100
and weeks (wk 1, wk2....) in cells B3 to BR3.

I can use the Auto Filter function to filter through the items and hide the other rows, but is it possible to have the opposite?
to be able to filter by weeks? so some kind of drop down that would let me choose week 6 specifically and for all other columns to be hidden.

    Thanks!

See attached example, modify to suit.
Cell A1 contains a drop down validation list to select the week (list is below the cell, but can be on another sheet if need be).

The code runs when a new selection is made. To show all columns, delete the contents of cell A1.

wow.. that actually works! thanks alot, especially for the attached file.

But I noticed a problem, for example: if I select week 7, then change the selection to a higher week (8,9..) it does not work... it only works if I select a lower week.
Is there a fix for that?

    thanks again!!
