    Pulling data

I have a small problem and hopefully someone will be interested in solving.I will explain in a few different steps.Firstly i would like a function/procedure to pull data from j2 to n22 if a2=strongman1 and b1=log lift and b2=10,i need columnD populated with 2 randomly from each.Take a look at attached to see.If anyone is interested please have a go and i will then move on to step2.Thanks.

    Re: Pulling data

what i am looking for is when a2=strongman1 and b1=log lift and b2=10 all from dropdowns.
then column C will show from c2 to c11 two random numbers from j2 to j22,two random numbers from k2 to k22,same with L,M,N columns etc.so final result will be column C will be populated with 10 random numbers. Also sorry for saying column D instead of C in previous post.I just thought it might need a function/procedure but any way that works will be perfect. Thanks

    Hey giant

I don't understand you second post in second line " then column C will show from c2 to c11.....

What random numbers you want. Do you want higher numbers or lower number or average numbers.
Any two numbers is not a creteria.

Do you want the number based on the performance of different man (Strongman1, Strongman 2, Strongman3...) ?

    Please explain

    Re: Pulling data

First of all sorry for any confusion. Please take alook at the new attached.it does exactly what i require but there has to be a better way to do this than what i have done.I want to set this up for each strongman each event ei loglift etc and each number ei 10, so for instance if b2 was to change to 7 and b1 to deadlift i will have c2 to c11 calculate 1 from j column 1 from k, 3 from l column 2 from m column 3 from n column. That means the strongman will be picking more from columns l to n which means a lower score rating as j,k have bigger numbers than m,n etc.Which will mean that deadlift is not strongmans best event.
