remove unwanted data

Dear all
i have a problem when i have different sheets and i want to compare the data within them using the dates in the 1st column but i need to remove some rows( dates ) from these sheets which not needed for example if the 1st sheet has the dates 1/1,2/1,3/1,4/1..etc and the second sheet contain 1/1,2/1,4/1 ....etc so i need to remove the row 3/1 in the 1st sheet and the end results will be matched in both sheets ( 1/1,2/1,4/1 ....etc )
