    Percentage in a Pivot table

I've got a pivot table with 3 columns; PAC and SOS in the Row field, and Total of SOS in that PAC in the data column. There might be up to 5 SOS's in a PAC, titled CVS, FAD, etc. The Total of SOS shows how many positions are in that particular SOS, in each PAC . How do I get Excel to show the percentage of SOS in the PAC?

I've attached my working document to illustrate the problem.

I'm not exactly sure what your trying to do. If I understand properly you are looking to sum the values of the PAC and then the SOS, and then get the percentage of SOS/PAC. I would use sumifs to sum them. Then just divide the two values. format it all pretty and your good.

I can't tell which ones are PAC and which ones are SOS from your document though.

Sheet 3 has the raw data, sheet 1 has the pivot. "Total" is the total of positions within the SOS, which is within the PAC. On Sheet 1, in the pivot table, I want the "total" to be converted to a percentage of the whole, NOT the whole of the Totals column, but the whole of the PAC it's contained in. For instance, looking at

I can do this with a formula next to the Pivot table (see the attachment), but the pivot table itself should be able to convert the total to the proper percentage, but I don't know how to do that. .

Well, I got no help, but I figured it out. I moved the "Caseload" data from the Row field to the "column" field, then went to my "Sum of Total" in the Data field, went to the Field Settings, then Option, and chose "% of Row". Thanks for the help.
