I am trying to create a formula/macro (although i cant write a macro myself) that will return certain values based on the current date in the excel worksheet.
Thi sis basically for a group of companies who have different Business Activity Statement and Instalment Activity Statement Lodgement Dates.
Cell A1 contains the current date displayed as the month and year because the BASs and IASs are due either on a monthly or quarterly basis based on the entity.
So what i want to do basically is that if cell A1 contain's either March, June, September or December, then i want it to return a value in Cell A11 for example.
As the quarters are different for each entity, its gets tricky. So for example if only entity has the above quarterly lodgements, the next might have July, October, January and April.
What i am trying to do basically is that when I open my excel file each month, I want to be able to see the lodgements that need to be made that month.
I'd appreciate any help.
