Excel 2007 : Summary and transfer same data to other document

Hello guys,

I arrive again with my questions and problems, I have now two documents and they should be connect one with other with some Axcel problems inside of documents.
First document is instead daily production report, where we in write data about daily production result, column C contains bars which are produced, in column J should be whole weekly productions of bars, same thing is with column D where is productions Kg and whole Kg per week we need in column K.
Next column E contains two numbers items per cells, they are separated with non numeric character “*”,I want to took left side from * and summary these numbers per week in column M, alike in column E and column F should be summary in column L only left side in cell F, in column N total scrap per week in Kg. For me problem is how I can take number from left side and summary them in one cell with only one operation (off course if it is possible).

At the end, daily production document most be connected with weekly production report, where date summarized per week should be transfer to weekly report document.

I hoped that I was not redundant in my explanations.
