Removing characters

Is there a way to remove characters out of some data in cells,,for example

A1 COP09130
A2 COP09501
A3 COP09503
A4 COP09505
A5 COP09507
A6 COP09509

i want to remove the COP and have it look like so,,,,

A1 09130
A2 09501
A3 09503
A4 09505
A5 09507
A6 09509
