Dear Sir,
I would like to automate a process which does the following (in layman's terms)
while n = 1 to 1000
Create data in Excel File A using some formulas that use random number,
Copy that data and paste the values in Excel File B in fixed locations,
Copy output from File B, and paste the values in column n of Excel file C
next n
Please advise !
There aren't 1000 columns in Excel 2003, so this may not work. Else your question contains errors.
Please provide a sample workbook A showing where the random value cells are.
Please provide a sample workbook B showing where these random value are to be pasted.
Please provide a sample workbook C showing the end results of a few times through the loop.
Click GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to post up a desensitized copy of your workbooks.
