I find a FUNCTION (whose name, for instance, is ThSep) that give me this:
ThSep (100) = 100
ThSep (1000 = 1.000
ThSep (10000) = 10.000
ThSep (100000) = 100.000
ThSep (1000000) = 1.000.000
ThSep (10000000) = 10.000.000

Not quite sure I follow... why are you not applying a Custom Number Format to the cells of #.### ?
(assumes you're in a locale where period is thousands separator)
If you want the result as a text value then:
=TEXT(100,"#.###")
(translate as nec.)
