    Competition RANK or VLOOKUP

    Hi guys
    I need help!! please
I have competition of 48 people.
Column B is players names 5-53.
    Column D date (not important).
Column F points ( very important there is 3 points deduction for every wrong answer scores from 0 to -27, of course less points deducted better position).
Column H time ( secondary importance. There is a lot of people with same points deduction from column F so the time will make the diference it is in minutes and seconds. Of course less time it took them better position).
I have tried to use RANK and VLOOKUP together with composite score, but it was more that my little brain could handle I got close but it didn't work.
    Could you help me please.
    Thanks

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!

    Wow
    That was quick
Ok here is the dummy file.
The important points are in column L. The time which is the secondary source is in N column. Out of thise two should give me the position in P column which is based on fewer points deducted and tie will be resulted by faster time.
Than, while here is the dummy file there is overall position as well in T column which is the RANK of R column and if there is a tie it goes down to position in P column.
The AA is easy I hope I can do that on my own.
    Thanks very much.
