Merge two tables / unique values

    Hi,

I' l9oking for a worksheet formula (could be an Array-Formula) in order to consolidate two tables and present the unique values.

    Tbl.3 is the result of Tbl.1 & Tbl.2
    Tbl.6 is the result of Tbl.4 & Tbl.5

    Thanks, Elm

Re: Merge two tables / unique values

Step 1: Cut and paste one table below the other
    Step 2: Select whole table
Step 3: Data > Filter > Advanced Filter
Step 4: Check the box unique records only
    Step 5: Click ok

This should give you just the unique values. The duplicates will still be there but as this is a filter you won't be able to see them. After you have filtered if you copy that list to where you want the duplicates shouldnt come with it. Hope this helps.

    Thank you.

I should have mentioned that I'm familiar with such solutions.

I will wait for some formula! solution without touching/moving any of the tables and to get a merged table in a different! column.

    bth:
For Tbl. 1+2+3, I managed to write a simple Array formula to be placed in cell A7 and copied down for displaying the values of Tbl,2, but this is not what I have in mind.
