pro rata pecentage

I am a commercial sales agent and are in the process of designing an excel sheet to help out a few of my principles and agents.

What I am looking for is if a products sells for $100 and the commission is 10% then the commission earned is $10 nice and simple. but if the principle or the agent offers a discount of 5% i want to peable to prorata the commission earned to reflect the discount.

100 sell = full 10% commission
95 sell = 9.5% ?

how can this be done?

What you have done is good but not quite what I am trying to do.

full sell price $100
commission rate 10%

payment to me $10

that's all pretty standard stuff.

but some of my manufacturers are looking to offer a discount to the end user in order to win the business so instead of selling for $100 they are selling for $97 and they would like to prorata the commission paid so insted of the full 10% they would pay the prorata percentage rate.

and conversly if the agent can sell the product for $110 the manufactuer pays the prorata commission rate .
