Deleting unnecessary data in a column

    Hi all.
I would like to format a column in excel, which cells contain similar data. It is about an available merchandise in a small firm. The A1 cell contains that data: "Small bottle P",
The A2 cell contains the data "Middle can silver light P" and the A3 cell contains the data "Cans P". These cells are one under another. What I want to do is to get out of that nasty "P" in each cell. I can do it manually, but there are 200 cells in a column, it takes a lot a time. What I had in mind was to divide the column into other columns and to leave the "P" in the last column and delete it, but that works only when the number of the words in a cell are the same. Otherwise it messes up. Any suggestions for solving of my problem ?
