    Cumulative totals

I'm working on a blasting spreadsheet that I need to do a couple of things. First, it needs to add cells and accumulate their totals. Second, needs to flag cells(by changing the color) that deviate by 7 or less from each other, possibly by a conditional format maybe? I have attached a copy of the spreadsheet.
    Thank you

    Re: Cumulative totals

from the explanations in your file:

    Hopefully you have the idea
    Afraid not!

There seems to be an arbitrary or random number of cells that are clicked to copy and/or paste a value, but I don't see rhyme nor reason nor logic behind it.

You may want to step back and explain what you want to achieve instead of posting a road map of where to copy and paste values that make no sense to people who are not familiar with your project.

    Re: Cumulative totals

Hi, thanks for your quick response. I used this "road map of where to copy and paste values" because it's the simplest way I know to explain what I'm trying to do. The workbook is only a sample of many combinations that could be possible. This is a sketch of a delay pattern in a blast; the sketch is required by law to document the timing in milliseconds of the blast. Each number represents a borehole full of explosives being detonated. The numbers needs to be cumulatively added according to which “surface delay” (which is the 9,17,25,42 & 100) that is used. The delay patterns are almost never the same, so it would be hard to make one size fits all formula. In addition, each borehole needs to be 8 milliseconds or more apart. I’m trying to figure out how to flag the numbers that are closer than eight milliseconds apart, and add the numbers up according to which surface delay is used.

    Any help would be appreciated!
