Calculating Prior Sales Balance from Current Sales and Increase/Decrease

Does anyone know how to calculate a prior balance based on current balance and increase/decrease?

    Example:

    Current Sales = 334858
Current Sales Increase over Prior Period = 335.3%
    Prior Period Sales = ?

Re: Calculating Prior Sales Balance from Current Sales and Increase/Decrease

    Past Sales = Current Sales/(Percent Increase +1)
Percent increase is formatted as a percent
So in your example, the previous sales were 76925.80

    Checking that
    Percent increase = (Current - Past)/Past *100= 335.3
Does that sound right to you?
