Need urgent help with writing macros

I have been trying to write a macro that includes a check box to override a certain function. This was easy enough to do with a form control, but as soon as I tried to apply the recorded macro, the checkbox went crazy and either an error message showed up saying the check box was unable to be found (in VBA), or the true/false cell that the check box controlled wouldn't register with the check box in the macro.

    help is appreciated

    thanks

We can't help correct code/forms we can't see.

Click GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to post up a desensitized copy of your workbook.

I don't have code yet. I just need to know how to create a macro with a working checkbox in it. All of the help articles in excel haven't worked so far
