I quickly went through several posts to see if my question was asked before, but I didn't see anything that helped me out. So if this is answered elsewhere and I just missed it, feel free to flame away and do your best to make me feel insignificant. Just post a link to the thread first!!

I'm making a large identification and value spreadsheet. What I would like to do is be able to click the cell with the item name and description and have an image of that item open for identification purposes. I did see the, "Insert, picture" command. But all my photos are located in a .pdf file. In the file, they're arranged by category and are numbered. Until now (or even now as I'm not done and not sure if it's possible) these two files were totally independent of each other and you have to have both files open and try to locate items on each file to identify them. I'm not thrilled with the idea of having to, one by one, save thousands of pictures in a single file just to link it on my spreadsheet.

Is there a way to have a link that will open Adobe Reader with that specific item, or at least the correct page showing? I did a regular hyperlink but all I was able to do was merely open Adobe to the first page.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. And flames keep the reading entertaining! Thanks to all who throw their two cents in.
