find field length in pivot table

    Hi,
I am running some equations on a pivot table, my problem is that the field length changes when I change the filters.
I found a partial solution (see file attached) but it doesnt help n all cases - like the one in the file, when the axis is splitted.

How can I make the equation adaptive to the table filters?

    Thanks

It's not entirely clear to me what you're trying to do.

Perhaps try explaining a different way?

I think you would want to reference your pivot table cells with formulae which would adapt according to the pivot table, and possibly use dynamic named ranges to reference the data for a chart... but I don't really know...

    Hi Charlie,
That's exactly what I need, I would like the formulas to have dynamic range that would match itself to the pivot table length.
You can see in the file attached that I solved it for a single table, but in the case of several axis fields the table is splitted by the axis title... and I need to set the formulas so they will "know" when does the first table ends and the second starts.

    Thanks

Have you tried simply clicking the chart icon with the pivot table selected? Pivot charts automatically resize according to the pivot source.

As we're struggling, perhaps you could upload a 'what you have' and a 'what you want' example?
