    Secondary Y-Axis problem

Making transition to 2007 and going through learning curve. Searched forums but too many secondary y-axis threads.

I have 2 series on a bar graph, one on each y-axis with a common time scale on X axis. That part is done. But as soon as i enable the secondary Y-axis, the bars stack infront of each other and i want them side by side as they were before enabling secondary y-axis.

    Help

    Re: Secondary Y-Axis problem

I have experienced this problem too. Format data series, series options, plot series on secondary axis - puts the secondary y axis bars on top of the primary y axis bars.

I have a 'press all the buttons til it does what you want' attitude to software, so I've fiddled with everything but I just can't make my graph as pretty as I want it. Messing with the gap width helps but the bars then seem to be random widths within a series..... infact the bars seem to be random widths once you put more than one data series on the primary axis .... and I'm sure it's not just my eyes!

Does anybody have any clever formatting suggestions to solve this, e.g. is there a way to set the width of bars other than with gap width?

    Cheers!
