    Question Time Calculations:length of time

    I have a process that the length of time must be calculated - (.5 gallons per minute getting 3,000 gallons through the system) This takes 6,000 minutes. If I begin this process on 8/23/2010 at 10AM when will it be finished; date and time? Please help with how I get this calculation to show the date and time it will complete?

    If A1 contains the start date and time, then

    =A1+3000/0.5/1440

    and format the result as a date and time.

    1440 is the number of minutes in a day.
