Hello friends. Im stuck.
In the attached file, im trying manage the time people are exercising in 4 types of a simulation (type a-d). In each simulation one can act as a Controller, Commander, Instructor OR Observer.
The problem is to count all the time that one person has exercised as one of the described rules - I want to count how long did Chris, for example practice as a controller OR commander OR instructor OR observer?
The problem is in the formula written in !Stat:G3:J10 :
SUMIFS(Sims!$C$2:$C$20,Sims!$D$2:$D$20,Stats!G$2,Sims!$E$2:$E$20,Stats!$B3)
I would have wanted it to be :
SUMIFS(Sims!$C$2:$C$20,Sims!$D$2:$D$20,Stats!G$2,Sims!$E$2:$H$20,Stats!$B3)
in order to count all the rules and not only the controller. That (counting several columns and not only one) can be done in Sumif but not in Sumifs.
I guess that can be done using pivot table as well. I never use those ....
Thanks a lot.
