    Conditional Formatting Borders

I have some tables one of my worksheets. I used "IF" statements to get the data onto the tables depending on whether I am presenting 1 or 2 years of financial data. The problem I am having though is that the conditional formatting does not allow me to put a double underline below the totals. Is there a way to do this without using VBA? Any suggestions?

    Welcome to the forum.

What you see for conditional formatting options is what you get.

You can double-underline the text ...

I have the same issue, as I am trying to add a double underline border... Is VBA my only other option?

    Hi mholland83

After you apply your rule. Click the format button, then you need to go to the Font tab, then under the font box is the underline box, click the down arrow and select your requirement.

Re: Excel 2007 : Conditional Formatting Borders

I know this is a delayed response but I couldn't find any solution out there when I was looking. Conditional Formatting overrides whatever formatting is already there. So if you format with a double underline (not using conditional formatting) then use conditional formatting to clear the formatting when there is no data it will give you the same result as if you were to use conditional formatting to add the double underline.
