    Hiding a formula

    Hi there,

I have entered formulas in various cells. The formula is showing in the Fx line. How do you hide the formula so that the Fx line shows the data?

    Thank you

    Stephen

I'm afraid if you wish for the formula to persist then only the formula will be visible in the Formula Bar (or you can choose to hide the formula if you protect the cells/sheet).

To see the formula result within the formula bar requires use of F9 whilst highlighting the formula in the Bar itself HOWEVER if you press Enter this will REPLACE the formula (with the constant)

    Re: Hiding a formula

Thank you.....I was hoping you could. I want to be able to only see the data after the fomula has completed in order to copy and paste it other places. Also, the formulas cause issues with sorting when there is no data in the field other than the formula.
