Return the SUM of a range by list

Hi,

I need to sum the values of all rows that contain a particular month from a data table.

I have attached an example which will hopefully make it clear what I need to achieve.

I know what I want but cannot think how to write ther formula.

Can anyone help?

since the value to sum by is already in a cell, it's easier to reference that cell and use just one formula for all cases.
