Scatter Graph

Hi
Please can someone help me i am trying to create a scatter graph that compares 2
columns of data. Once the data is into the graph it works well and looks good BUT when i hover over the points this shows me the data e.g. (point 40 (40,58)). I want the name of the person that this data is about to show up not the data itsself. is this possible?
i have attached a photo to show more detail. Sorry if this is a bit confusing. PLEASE HELP

i have 3 columns, name, data 1, data 2 simple scatter graph one data series data 1 compare to data2. hover over points, show the name..

Thanks andy, have been trying to get it working butt keeps coming up with a runtime error and then it only shows "series1" as a value not the name!

Does it have to display on mouse over. Can you not use data labels to display the information?

You can link data labels to cell content with theis free addin

Here is example of the chart with 5 points on the scatter graph.
what i need it the name of the persom to show when hovered over a point...

Not sure what you expect.

I have provided you links to addins that provide information via data labels either on mouse over or statically.

I even downloaded the hover addin and it works fine on your example chart.

After 2 years, I am having same problem...
Can I add names next to points... I can do it manually by clicking one by one
but how can i do it automatically
