    Conditionally formatted date selection

Here's an image if it helps demonstrate my issue at all:
    \1

Basically, it's not selecting the dates to format properly and I don't know why. I can use the same formula on a NEW worksheet and it appears to work fine. So it led me to believe it's something to do with the formatting of the data in the cell. But I don't see any issues with it. They're formatted as Date and- just totally clueless. Any pointers?

Just because it looks like a date doesnt mean it is one.
Test by typing in another cell =ISNUMBER(E7) (or appropriate Cell) and see if it comes up TRUE

Yep, they all come up true. (I even made sure to check the two problematic cells I know about).

Just covering all the bases with this question . .

Are you certain you had the "problem" cell selected when applying the CF - that is, it was included in the range of cells to which the CF is to be applied?

Have you tried copying a "good" cell and pasting the format which will carry-over the CF as well as other cell formatting?

I just applied your formula to a spreadsheet and it does in fact conditionally format all values prior to next Monday. Can you upload a copy of your spreadsheet (clearing any irrelevant data) to this forum (Go advanced>Manage Attachments)?

Well, guess what. When clearing all irrelevant data it started working.

Turns out, as I have 5 different conditional formatting rules, if I want them all to apply to all cells, I need to uncheck the "Stop if true" checkbox
