    formulations

    Good day all,

I have extracted data into excel but the formulas wont work. The numbers are in the following format 36,000 instead of 36000. I have formated the cells to numbers and removed the decimal places but the total of the simple =( + ) shows #value!.

    Please assist.

    Re: formulations

Click on the column header -> Data Tab -> Text to Columns -> click Finish

If that does not resolve the issue - please outline the output of:

    =CODE(RIGHT(A1))

where A1 holds the first value you're looking to convert.

    Re: formulations

    Hi Donkeyote,

Text to columns does not work.

I have tried the =code(right(A1)) and it gives the following codes.

    48,55,57

    Re: formulations

On South African settings running an Edit -> Replace replacing Comma with nothing should convert the values to their numeric equivalents.
