    Currency Conversion in Excel

    Hello All.

I have a spreadsheet with data, whose data elements includes price of parts and the appropriate currency values. I would like to have a new column which would have all the net price in USD. The thing is the data of issue of these orders are over 3 years and each period has a different conversion rate. Is there a way by which I can make the conversion according to the appropriate conversion rates in the respective periods of time?

    Thanks.

Do you have a table of exchange rates at each time period that you can look up?
Where there is a will there are many ways.

I do not. I have been trying to find a data sheet of the appropriate values on all dates from 2008, but I have not been able to find one.

    One I found is here:

    http://www.oanda.com/currency/histor...margin_fixed=0

you can enter a from/to date, select the currency and then click Get Table...

you can repeat for each year and each currency of interest...then copy/paste to Excel and add a currency column to identify the currency...
