Button edges problem

Dear people,

I want ask some help with some buttons i use (20 in total).

How can i get rid of the white edges on this button in my attached workbook?

I don't think you can. That is the light effect to give the button a 3d appearance.

How about using a shape instead of a activex control?

I considerded using shapes but i couldn't get them colored by using vba.

I mean something like the following;
