Excel 2007 : Finding the highest time value in a range and again compare which is the highest time

Hi all

Can anybody help with the following excel query :

I'm having a time values in A and C columns like this :
using the max formula like this =max(a3:a5+if(a3:a5<=time(6,0,0),1,0)) (press cltr+shift+enter) i' getting the maximum time.

There is no problem to finding the result if time is more than 23:59 i'm getting the highest time.

But in the following case where the time value is before 23:59 i'm getting only 0:00 values.

22:58
21:24
21:24
23:39
23:55

0:00
--------
I need your help for find the values whether it is < 23:59 or > 23:59 in time value in a single array formula. And after that again i have to find in A and C columns which is the highest time?

Thanks. Pleasure appreciations to you. How to find maximum time in respect of A28 and B38 columns. What i meant is i have a maximim time in A28 for A column rows and another maximum time in B38 for B column rows, and finally i want to find which column has the maximum time A28 or B38 column.
