    Would someone explain this,
    Let users edit the workbook sequentially, instead of in parallel,
    This came from a close thread when I searched "shared" I have little knowledge of the program and lately it is giving us fits by not saving others work or saying it is locked for editing. Very frustrating.

    Sharing workbooks isn't really a good idea.

    It's a badly implemented feature in Excel. If you need multi-user access to data, use a database program.
