Smile How to convert various date formats with time to dd-mmm-yy format?

    Hi there,

I have a list of dates for the month of Sep that are of various formats such as :

    09-09-10 0:00
    09-09-10 0:00
    09/13/10 12:00 AM
    09/24/10 12:00 AM
    09/24/10 12:00 AM

How can i convert them to the date format that I want without the time stamp? I have tried various functions etc but non really worked..

    Please see attached example.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Can't the "date" part of the formula be replaced by INT(A2)?

No, because the dates though displayed in "d/m/y" format are in fact a representation of "m/d/y" dates. At least that's what the "revised dates" column implies. As such DAY & MONTH of date values must be transposed.

The non numeric values are because the date string is not valid in context of "d/m" dates - ie 9/13 does not exist - the numeric values are on the other hand "ambiguous" in that month & day are interchangeable.
