How to put the minimum number of 2 columns.

Heres what I want to do, I have 3 columns involved. Vans avaliable, Drivers avaliable and van and driver combos. For the van and driver combos I need to have both a Van and a Driver, how would I set that up?

sorry I can't post the sheet, company but what I want is to only have a total of vans WITH drivers in the column. So 3 vans and 2 drivers would be 2 vans with drivers.

    Thanks!

Hard to say without seeing your setup but maybe something like:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
That would be used if you have vans and drivers listed in those columns.

If you just have number of vans and number of drivers just use:

    or perhaps just

    =Min(Driver Cell, Van Cell)

depending on exactly what is in the sheet

Talking Re: How to put the minimum number of 2 columns.

Hard to say as cutter says if we don't know the format of your data, i.e. how you populate the number of vans and drivers. However, if for example you vans column is A, and Drivers column is B, and your data starts from row 1 (Amount of vans in A1, and amount of drivers in B1) then in C1 enter
