Red face If two conditions are met, only then look for...

    Hi everyone

So there I was thinking (wrongly of course) that it would not be too hard to meet the following criteria:

    Worksheet 1

    Date Area Person
Manual (consists of vlookup formula) Blank

    Worksheet 2

    Area Date Person
    Manual Manual Manual

If Date in Worksheet 1 equals the date in Worksheet 2 AND if Area in worksheet 1 and area in worksheet 2 equal then display the person from Worksheet 2 in worksheet 1 otherwise its false.

I though I could combine if function with and function and vlookup function but really I got nowhere.

Can you suggest any solution to this puzzle?

    Hi,
Here is my solution for you (see Attachment).
    There are 2 sheet (sheet1 and sheet2)
Check the formula by modifying the date or the area
