Advanced filtering - to get dates fall within a particular month

Help please. I was given this spreadsheet to fix. It works fine in Excel 2003 but not in 2007. I have found that it is to do with the advanced filter but am not sure how to fix it.

The filter is to capture the data with either Start Date or End Date falls within Feb 2011 but the result only shows 5 items (i.e. P,O,A,N and B) missing C, E, F and J.

I have attached here image shots of sample data and the result after filtered.

    Your help is much appreciated!

It would be more practical if you posted the actual workbook or a sample with some typical data.
