Highlighting specific data in a graph

    I am using excel 2010.

Once I create a bar graph, I have the option of selecting one bar and changing its color to draw attention to it and flag it as being different from the other ones.

I want to be able to have those specific bars highlighted automatically instead.
For example I have a list of 100 days worth of stock prices for a certain stock. In column A is the date, columb B is the price of the stock on that day. Column C will contain a value of "1" only if the value in B is above $40, otherwise it will contain nothing.

Now I want to be able to create a bar graph showing the 100 days worth of stock prices. The bars that are above $40 are automically highlighted and their color is changed to red. The ones that are below $40 stay the default color. Any ideas on how to do this?

    Hello,

slow night, so I've got time to put this together. See attached file. Column C holds the values that are below the threshold, column D holds the values above the threshold. Create a stacked column chart with columns C and D.

    cheers
