    Question Custom Rule Display

Hey everyone! I just joined these forums and really hope somebody will be able to lend me a hand! I have a question that I hope a number of you can answer.

I'm making a spreadsheet which I want to use to track certain numbers.
Let's say it's organized this way:
Column A is the Maximum number we'd be dealing with.
    Column B is (1/2)A.
Column C is any other number, which could very well be larger than A.

Also note, I'm only using whole numbers and including the Rounddown elements as well with 0 decimal points. For instance, If A=7, then B=3. I also want to ensure that B is always displayed for easy reference to what half of rounded-down A is.

Here's what I can get it to do so far in consideration of Column E.

    Given that E=(A-C)
If A=E and E>B, then the custom rules display E Green
If E<=B and E>=1 then the custom rules display E as Yellow
If E<1 then the custom rules display E as Red

    That all works perfectly fine.

What I'd like to know, however is this. Let's say I also have Column D there, which is any other number, which will be added to E.

Now what I'd like to do is keep my rules outlined above but display that number in either Green, Yellow or Red as "E + D". Indicating that D is only temporary. In some circumstances, E+D would be > A, but I never want E to truly be > A, hence wanting to show D as an additional number next to E. This also enables me to show the current value of E being Red or Yellow while also showing that when D is taken into consideration it would be a larger number, which could be another color, but I want to ensure it stays that same color before D was taken into consideration.

Is this possible to do with custom rules? If you want me to attach my current project, please let me know

I have some followup questions to this as well, but I'll leave those for after this is either resolved or I'm told that it an't gunna happen!

PS - I know my Yellow words are orange in color. The Yellow font color on here was impossible to read!

Your question is too detailed. Please condense this into a simple, attached worksheet with a focused question
