Excel 2007 : Need formula in macro for pattern matching

Hi, is there any pattern matching function in macro.

i need pattern match formula in MACRO as..

this should "Specify the .* group" match with "Specify the nnn group".

".*" can be any value

other example
1) "Entry .* does not exist in .*" check your entry match with "Entry vvvvv does not exist in plko check your entry"
2) "Field .* does not exist in the screen .*" match with "Field xxx does not exist in the screen qqq"
please help out.
