Hey all,
Could someone tell me if it is possible to create an interface in excel that links multiple workbooks from one place? With the option of going back to the interface from any of these workbooks?
Any help would be awesome.
Thanks,
Jamer

You can use HYPERLINKS on a sheet in one workbook to link to files on your harddrive. Clicking the hyperlinks would actually open the other files.
If the other files had a hyperlink back to your main workbook, then that would accomplish the same thing.

Thats certainly a solution that would work. I will work on that for now but anyone with fancier and more complex ideas that are achievable they will be very welcolmed.
Thanks again!
Here's a macro for creating a hyperlinked listing of files in a chosen directory that match a certain file type (or all). Macro will list the last modified time stamp as well. A sample file is include on the page:
Create Hyperlinked Directory Listing
This should get you a starting hyperlinked interface you can play with.
